What is your prevention strategy for health issues?

How will you prevent future physical, mental and social health issues? One way is to take part in social Physical Activity🤼

“If physical activity were a drug, we would refer to it as a miracle cure, due to the great many illnesses it can prevent and help treat.”
Chief Medical Officer, 7 Sep 2019

Everyone has some level of fitness…keep it, don’t lose it…increase it, …do it with friends, make new friends… and support charity… and not only improve your own physical, mental and social wellbeing but also that of your family, friends, colleagues and local community.

If you are in good physical, mental and social health then the people around you are more likely to be in good health too. You will also need the NHS less, there will be less crime in your area https://www.sportengland.org/how-we-can-help/measuring-impact?section=social_and_economic_value_of_community_sport and your vaccinations will be more effective https://ca20.black/2021/06/01/paac-physical-activity-against-covid/

Great apps like Active 10 https://www.nhs.uk/oneyou/active10/home/, Couch to 5k https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/couch-to-5k-week-by-week/ can help.

To help your mental health – working out indoors is good, working out outdoors is better, working out in a green/blue space is best.

To help your social health – working out on your own is good, working out with a friend is better, working out in a small group is best.

If you have a confidence or self objectification concerns then work out with a friend, or find a reason such as family, children, charity, charity event … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPZLs02GNRo
