Don’t Go To The Gym

Don’t go to the gym … on your own. You might think only speaking to the receptionist and giving yourself time and space is good for you, however this is not a long term behaviour which is easy to sustain and misses out on many of the benefits of working out with others.

Working out with others is a long term behaviour which is easier to sustain and will be something you want to continue. The sharing of experiences builds friendships, social capital, self esteem, confidence and much more. This is transmitted by you throughout the day and following weeks, improving not only your quality of life but also the quality of life of those around you.

So if you are going to the gym, maybe ask a friend to join you, or several friends. Maybe join a class … you will be happy that you did, and your friends (old and new) will be happy that you did!
